Description

SG series three-phase dry-type transformers with enclosed protective enclosures feature IP20/IP30/IP40 ingress protection. They effectively prevent dust, moisture and foreign objects from intrusion, avoid accidental contact, reduce noise, resist vibration and are fire-resistant without oil, greatly improving safety and environmental adaptability. While retaining the advantages of dry-type transformers such as low loss, isolation, voltage stabilization and reliable operation, they break through installation environment limits and can operate stably in harsh, semi-outdoor, dusty and humid conditions. Their industrial applications are categorized as follows:
1. Direct Installation in Harsh Industrial Workshops
In textile, metallurgical, mining, machinery processing and injection molding workshops with heavy dust, moisture, oil dirt and slight corrosion, the protective enclosure blocks dust, moisture and oil from attaching to windings, avoiding insulation degradation and short circuits. Without being installed in closed electric cabinets, they can be floor-mounted or wall-mounted to directly provide three-phase voltage conversion and isolated power supply for high-power equipment such as machine tools, fans, water pumps, cranes and conveyors.
